Good morning record junkies and welcome back to the Tuesday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Our subject of celelbration today is multi Grammy and Emmy award winning composer Mike Post, as he celelbrates his 76th Birthday. Happy Birthday Mike. You have heard his themes on televisionyour whole life, such as , Law & Order, , The A-Team, NYPD Blue, Renegade, The Rockford Files, L.A. Law, Quantum Leap, Magnum, P.I., The Greatest American Hero and Hill Street Blues, to name a few. In honor of his big day, we take a listen to his second studio album, Railhead Overture. The instrumental LP was released in 1975 on the MGM label and produced by Post. Among the notable musicians on the disc are drummer Jim Gordon, and Herb Pedersen on banjo, whom we met and got an autograph from, at Gram Parsons Derry Down. I also have to mention Mike looks a bit like Napoleon Dynamite on the front cover ....
