Toda y we remember Tupelo, Mississippi native, actor, and singer, Elvis Presley, on this, the 46th anniversary of his passing. He was born January 8, 1935 to parents, Vernon Presley and Gladys Love and during the course of his 3 decade career he has sold over 500 million records worldwide and has dabbled in rock an roll, pop, rockabilly, country, gospel, R&B, and blues. Today we have him on the gospel side of things with this double compilation album, His Songs Of Faith And Inspiration. The records were released in 1986 on the RCA Special Products label and sees Elvis backed by The Imperials Quartet and The Jordanaires. Presley died in 1977, age 42, from cardiac arrest.
