Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate British singer, Engelbert Humperdinck (Arnold George Dorsey), as he celebrates his 87th Birthday. Happy Birthday Engelbert ! He was born on this very day in 1936 to British Army NCO Mervyn Dorsey, and his Wife, Olive. In 1965 he teamed up with his former roommate, Gordon Mills. Mills became his manger and and producer and suggested he change his stage. Today we have him on this 1977 Music For Pleasure release, Live At The Riviera. The LP see Englebert performing at The Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The record reached #45 in both the US and the UK.
