Good Tuesday morning, morning people and welcome to the Groundhog's Day edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again also known as the 79th Birthday of British-American singer-songwriter and multi instrumentalist, Graham Nash. Happy Birthday Graham ! Following his work in the Hollies and his second record with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, he released his debut solo album, Songs For Beginners on May 29, 1971. The soon to be Gold certified disc was self produced and peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200, #13 in the UK and Norway , #11 in Canada and on the Record World charts, #10 on the Cash Box and in Sweden, and #4 in the Netherlands. Three singles were released from this country rock record ; "Chicago" (#35 Hot 100, #29 Cash Box, Record World, Belgium, #19 Canada) , "Military Madness" (#73 Hot 100, Record World, #66 Cash Box, #20 Australia) and "I Used To Be A King" (#117 Record World, #111 Hot 100). Amoung Graham's guests on the album are Rita Coolidge, Jerry Garcia, Neil Young, Dave Mason, David Crosby, and Chris Ethridge.
