Today we remember folk rock singer. multi-instrumentalists, and philanthropist, Harry Chapin, on what would have been his 78th Birthday. He passed away in 1981, age 38, in an automobile accident. Sequel, his ninth studio album, was released in 1980 on the Boardwalk label and produced by Howard and Ron Albert. It peaked at #72 in Canada, #58 in the US, and #32 in Australia. Three singles were released ; The album's title track, (#37 Adult Contemporary, #34 Cash Box, #23 Hot 100) which is a sequel to his hit "Taxi", "Remember When The Music" (#47 Adult Contemporary) and "Story of a Life" (#105 Hot 100) .
