Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we wish a belated 73rd Birthday to Kim Simmonds, the Welsh guitarist, vocalist and founding member of English blues rock band, Savoy Brown. He turned 73 yesterday. Happy Birthday Kim ! With him in mind, we spotlight the group's seventh studio album, Street Corner Talking. The LP was released in September 1971 on the Parrot label and produced by Neil Slaven. It peaked at #75 on the Billboard 200. Throughout the band's storied 55 year career, they've seen a few line-up changes, with members leaving to form Foghat and play with UFO, Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac, King Crimson. Simmonds in the constant and is still active.
