STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - JACKSON BROWNE - JACKSON BROWNE

Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we celebrate the 74th Birthday of German born American musician, singer, songwriter, and political activist,  (Clyde) Jackson Browne. Happy Birthday Jackson ! To get his party started the right way, we find ourselves spinning his self titled debut album. The LP was released  January 1972 on the Asylum label and produced by Richard Sanford Orshoff. It peaked at #53 on the Billboard 200 and gave birth to two singles ; "Doctor My Eyes" (#8 Hot 100) and "Rock Me on the Water" (#48 Hot 100). The title of the record has led to some confusion as the cover is fashioned to look like a water bag with the words 'Saturate Before Using'. Later editions of the album have the phrase removed. Among Jackson's guest on the album are David Crosby, Jim Gordon, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Graham Nash, and Leland Sklar .
