STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - THIRTY SECONDS OVER WINTERLAND

Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It was on this very day in 1965 that psychedelic folk rockers, Jefferson Airplane, first took to the stage, makeing their live debut at The Matrix, in San Francisco. Well we don't have an album of that recording, but what we do have is this one : Thirty Seconds Over Winterland. Thirty Seconds Over Winterland is the group\s 2nd live album, and was recorded in 1972 at the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago and the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. Later in April 1973, it was released on Grunt/RCA Records and was produced by the band. It reached #52 on the Billboard 200. Our copy was purchased last year, here in Lakeland at Jesse Carl Vinyl.
