Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Wisconsin born jazz, country, and blues guitarist, songwriter, luthier, and inventor, Lester William Polsfuss, known the world over as Les Paul, on this, the 11th anniversary of his passing. He died in 2011, age 94 of complications from pneumonia. With him in mind we shine a light on this 1959 Longines Symphonette Society compilation album, Saturday Night Jamboree. The LP features 10 instrumentals from such guitarist greats as Glen Campbell, Les Paul, Buck Owens, and Roy Clark. It's quite a delightful listen.
