Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the 74th Birthday of English guitarist Martin Barre, best known for his work with progressive rockers Jethro Tull. Happy Birthday! On a more somber note, today is also the 41st anniversary of the death of bassist, John Glascock, who played with the band from 1976 until his death in 1979. A congenital heart valve defect claimed his life at age 28. With these two in mind, we spotlight Tull's fourth greatest hits compilation, Original Masters. Original Masters was released November 13, 1985 on the Chrysalis label . It peaked at #98 in Australia.
