Today we remember legendary singer songwriter and actor, Johnny Cash, on the 18th anniversary of his passing. He left these earthly realms in 2003, age 71, of complications from diabetes, less than 4 months after his Wife, June Carter Cash. They are both severely missed. To honor his legacy, we spotlight this 1970 compilation album, Hi ... I'm Johnny Cash. It was released on the Longines Symphonette Society label, and produced exclusively for the Birds Eye Division of General Foods. It contains five of my most favorite Cash numbers ...
