Good morning audiophiles and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 71st Birthday of Louis Andrew Grammatico, the New York based vocalist better known as Lou Gramm, the voice of Foreigner. Happy Birthday Lou ! He released his debut solo album, Ready Or Not, in 1987 on the Atlantic label. He co produced the record with Pat Moran. The LP peaked at #27 on the Billboard 200, #25 in Canada, and #14 in Sweden. Two singles were released ; the title track (#97 Australia, #54 Hot 100, #7 Mainstream Rock) and "Midnight Blue" (#82 UK, #29 the Netherlands, #8 Australia, #5 Hot 100, #1 Mainstream Rock). Lou's Brothers and Father appear on the album.
