Love Is The Message, their second record was released in 1973 on the PIR label and produced by Kenneth Gamble, Leon Huff, Vince Montana, Bruce Hawes, and Jack Faith. It peaked at #55 in Australia, #4 on both the Billboard Top LPs and Top Jazz LPs, and #1 on the Top Soul LPs charts. Two singles were released ; the title track (#85 Hot 100, #42 R&B) and "TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)" (#1 Hot 100, R&B, Adult Contemporary).The album has been certified Gold.
