Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember the "King Of Pop" Michael Jackson, on what would have been his 63rd Birthday. The Gary, Indiana native, singer, songwriter, dancer, and philanthropist, was born August 29, 1958 and passed away June 25, 2009, age 50, from cardiac arrest, caused by a propofol and benzodiazepine overdose. With him in mind, we spotlight his second compilation album, The Best of Michael Jackson. The LP was released August 28, 1975 on Motown Records and produced by Berry Gordy, Hal Davis, Mel Larson, Jerry Marcellino, The Corporation, Brian Holland, Sam Brown, and Bob Gaudio. It reached #156 on the Billboard 200, #76 in Australia, #16 in France, #11 in the UK, and #3 in the Netherlands. The disc collects tracks from Got to Be There, Ben, Music & Me, and Forever, Michael.
