Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to the Election Day selection from the record collection on Stuck In The Vinyl Again. No, we're not going to bog you down with negativity, we're going to lift you up in the form of this great compilation album from Oklahoma native, country and traditional pop singer and actress, Patti Page (real name: Clara Ann Fowler). She was born on this day in 1927, and passed away January 1, 2013, age 85, after suffering from heart and lung disease. Today would have been her 95th Birthday. To honor her legacy, we spotlight this 1957 Mercury records release, Page 1 - A Collection Of Her Most Famous Songs. The LP sees Patti teaming up with Jack Rael And His Orchestra to record 12 of her most famous tracks.
