Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist, Gordon Waller, known for his work with Peter Asher, in the 60s pop duo, Peter And Gordon, on this, the 11th anniversary of his passing. He died in 2009, age 64, from a heart attack. To honor his legacy, we spotlight the pair's 4th studio recording, True Love Ways. The LP was released in 1965 on Capitol Records and produced by Dave Dexter, Jr., and John Burgess. The title track, a cover of the Dick Jacobs Orchestra's 1958 hit, received a Gold record for selling over a million copies.
