Today we celebrate the 64th Birthday of Marshville, North Carolina native,  country and gospel music singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actor, Randy Travis (Randy Bruce Traywick). Happt Birthday Randy ! He was born in 1959 to parents Harold Traywick, a  a horse breeder, turkey farmer, substitute school teacher, and construction business owner, and Bobbie Traywick,  a textile factory worker. Over the course of his five decade career, Randy has released over 20 studio albums, including this one. No Holdin' Back is his 5th record and was released September 26, 1989 and was produced by Kyle Lehning. It peaked at #55 in Canada, #33 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Top Country Albums chart. It gave birth to three singles ; "It's Just a Matter Of Time" (#1 Canada Country, #1 Hot Country Songs), "Hard Rock Bottom Of Your Heart" (#1 Canada Country, #1 Hot Country Songs), and "He Walked On Water" (#2 Hot Country Songs, #1 Canada Country).
