Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 57th Birthday of adult contemporary and pop/rock singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and husband to former MTV VJ Daisy Fuentes, Richard Marx. Happy Birthday Richard ! To commemorate the date, we spotlight his sophomore album, Repeat Offender. Repeat Offender was released April 26, 1989 on the EMI label and produced by Richard Marx and David Cole. The LP peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and in Australia. The 4X Plattinum record spawned 3 Top 10 singles ; "Angelia" (#45 UK, #4 Hot 100), "Satisfied" (#52 UK, #1 Hot 100) and "Right Here Waiting" (#2 UK, #1 Hot 100) as well as two Top 20 hits with "Too Late To Say Goodbye" (#38 UK, #12 Hot 100) and "Children Of The Night" (#54 UK, #12 Hot 100). The guest list of musicians is quite impressive. It includes Steve Lukather, Randy Jackson, Prairie Prince, Tom Scott, Fee Waybill, Larry - Rudy and Steve Gatlin, Bobby Kimball, and Marx's now ex- Wife, actress and singer, Cynthia Rhodes. This album was still new in shrink and opened for this occasion. Ive included an opening video starring yours truly, down around the picture section.
