Good morning gang and welcome back to the Friday, September 11th edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. As always are hearts, thoughts, and Prayers are with the nation as we remember the terror attacks that claimed the lives of 2,977 citizens in New York, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. God Bless the Families and no, we will never forget. In addition to that, it is also the 67th Birthday of guitarist/vocalist, Tommy Shaw, best known for his work with Styx and Damn Yankees. Happy Birthday Tommy ! With him in mind, we spotlight Styx's eleventh studio album, Kilroy Was Here. The rock opera was released February 22, 1983 on the A&M label and produced by the band. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and gave birth to three singles ; "Don't Let It End" (#13 Adult Contemporary, #6 Hot 100), "High Time" (#48 Hot 100), and "Mr. Roboto" (#3 Hot 100, Mainstream Rock). The album tells the tale of a future world where music has been outlawed by a fascist government.
