Today we remember Bristol, Tennessee native, actor, and bass-baritone vocalist, Tennessee Ernie Ford (Ernest Jennings Ford), on this, the 31st anniversary of his passing. He was born February 13, 1919 and died in 1991, age 72, from liver failure. With him in mind, we spotlight this 1968 Capitol Records records, World Of Pop And Country Hits.
