Dark Clouds Rain Down Tears Washing Away Swirling Colors From The Clown's Face..
Good Monday morning gang and welcome to the Memorial Day 2022 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember our fallen soldiers who paid the ultimate price with their lives for Freedom. Thank you all and God bless you. For your listening consideration we offer this album, The Airforce Of Mid-America Presents Musical Showcase by The Airforce Band Of Mid-America. The album comes from Scott Airforce Base, in Illinois. It is not on a label per say and does not have a release date on it, but I know it was sometime after February 1982 because the LP is dedicated to the memory of Master Sergeant Larry C. Soper (August 12, 1945 - February 9, 1982). On it the Captain Roger W. Sebby conducts the band through great and faithful renditions of songs by The Commodores, Al Jarreau, Waylon Jennings, Jerome Kern , the theme from "Fame", and more. This is a Not For Sale album that I purchased sealed on Ebay a few months back. It was opened for this occasion.
