Good morning gang and welcome back to the Monday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Sixteen years ago today, Iowa born rock drummer, vocalist, and songwriter, Keith Knudsen. known for his work with The Doobie Brothers, passed away at age 56, from pneumonia. We honor his legacy, by spinning the band's 8th studio album, Minute By Minute. The LP was released December 1, 1978 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by Ted Templeman. The soon to be 3X Platinum record peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and saw the release of three singles ; "Dependin' on You" (#25 Hot 100), "Minute By Minute" (#74 Black Singles, #14 Hot 100), and "What A Fool Believes" (#72 Black Singles, #40 Club Play Singles, #1 Hot 100).
