Good morning vinyl junkies and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Los Angeles born keyboard player and composer, Jimmy Greenspoon, best known for his work in blue eyed soul, boogie rock band, Three Dog Night, on what would have been his 73rd Birthday. Cancer claimed his life in 2015, age 67. Cyan, Three Dog Night's 10th studio album was released October 9, 1973 on the Dunhill label and produced by Richard Podolor. The Gold certified disc peaked at #56 in Japan, #26 in America, and #8 in Canada. Two singles were released ; "Shambala" (#3 on the Adult Contemporary and Hot 100, #1 Cash Box) and "Let Me Serenade You" (#17 Hot 100).
