Today we enthusiastically wish California native, composer, multi instrumentalist, and vocalist, Lonnie Jordan, best known for his work in WAR, a very Happy 74th Birthday. Happy Birthday Lonnie ! With him in mind, we spotlight the group's 4th studio album, All Day Music. The LP was released November 1971 on the United Artists label and produced by Jerry Goldstein, Chris Huston, and WAR. It peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200 and #6 on the R&B Albums chart. It singles were the title track, "All Day Music" (#35 Hot 100, #18 R&B)and "Slippin Into Darkness" (#16 Hot 100, #12 R&B) .
