Good morning vinyl junkies and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember outlaw country musician, Waylon Jennings, on this, the 20th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 2002, age 64, from diabetic complications. With him in mind, we spotlight his first live album. Waylon Live was recorded September 25, 1974, in Dallas, TX and September 26-27, in Austin, TX and then released in December of 1976 on the RCA Victor label. It was produced by Waylon and Ray Pennington. It peaked at #46 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top Country Albums chart. Among the originals Waylon sprinkles in covers of Jimmie Rodgers, fellow Highwaymen Willie And Kristofferson, and Rex Griffin.
