EXCEPT THE LORD BUILD THE HOUSE… : by Franklin D. Leupp, Sr.

washington-praying2

In a day when the foundation of our country seems to be crumbling

away in so many ways and at breakneck speed, it’s time to reflect

a little on our origins.  Families and respect for each other are

in free-fall and actually abetted by our corrupt government.

President Carter’s Department of Education has become a debacle

of politicization and indoctrination, twisting young minds with

the worst that the world has to offer. …

CAN I GET A COURTESY FLUSH PLEASE? By Joe Messina

hillary

With all the news swirling around (see what I did there) in the media this week there was little attention paid to what’s behind the recent drop in Hillary’s numbers. Why, you ask? Because it seems like people are so polarized by male-female (can I still use those terms?) white-black,…

“We’ll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American people believe is false.” William Casey, CIA Director, 1981

Over and over again at each event that I speak at across the country, I always highlight how this administration is using the Saul Alinsky…

LONDON (AP) - HSBC Holdings, Europe's largest bank by market value, will cut up to 25,000 jobs globally to reduce costs and shift its center of gravity further toward the fast-growing Asian economies where it started operations 150 years ago.

The bank, which is based in London and has a value of around 120 billion pounds ($184 billion), said Tuesday it is "undertaking a significant reshaping of its business portfolio" and "redeploying resources to capture expected future growth…

Nader: Hillary Tried to ‘Overcompensate’ for Gender with ‘Shocking’ Militarism : by Nicholas Ballasy

“I think Hillary is not the Hillary of when she was 30 years old. She made peace with the power structure." Former Green Party and independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader labeled 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton a “deep corporatist and a deep militarist” who has made peace with the nation’s power structure.

“I think Hillary is not the Hillary of when she was 30 years old. She made peace with the power structure and she is a deep corporatist and a deep…

Israeli Defense Chief: Peace With Palestinians Unlikely in My Lifetime

Israel's defense minister said on Tuesday he did not believe a stable peace agreement could be reached with the Palestinians in his lifetime — one of the bleakest assessments from a top-level cabinet member since talks collapsed last year.

Moshe Yaalon, one of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's closest allies, accused the Palestinians of having "slammed the door" on efforts to keep discussions going, and said they had rejected peace-for-land deals for at least 15…

European Allies Fight Obama on Iran Nuke Deal

President Barack Obama huddled with allies Monday on the sidelines of an international summit to address pressing Mideast problems while trying to convince European leaders to maintain sanctions against Russia in the face of fresh violence in Ukraine.

Obama participated in the final day of the Group of Seven summit under the strain of an intimidating list of global pressures and little signs of movement to address them among the world's largest industrial democracies. Climate change…

Kristol Clear #64 -- D-Day and All That : The worst production of a play ever?

As I write on Sunday morning, I'm still reeling from attending (only until intermission) perhaps the worst production of a play I've ever seen, the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Tartuffe (trigger warning !). We've been subscribers to the…

I Wish I'd Seen This Before Spending A Fortune On Solar Panels!

I’m filled with REGRET.

And it’s not just because of the $17,453 I've spent to get some solar panels in my home…

But also because of what they DIDN’T tell me.

It turns out that these things don’t even produce 20% of the energy that they advertised!

But after all this frustration, I’m glad I went through this “learning experience”…

Because that frustration…

Associated Press Pens The Most Dishonest Anti-Cop Conspiracy Theory You Are Likely To Ever Read : by Bob Owens

I’ll be quite frank: I have very little respect for the Associated Press and the quality of their reporting, which tends to range from mediocre to abysmal in terms of factual accuracy, and which seems to be far more interested in publishing propaganda in recent years than reflecting reality.

Their latest attempt to generate controversy, “…

The Silencing : Mike Adams

Kirsten Powers gets it. There is an assault on free speech in this country that is coming from the political left. But the people responsible for it are not liberals. They aren’t worthy of the title of liberal, which presupposes a degree of tolerance for opposing opinions. They are…

Who Lost Iraq? Thomas Sowell

After the pro-Western government of China was forced to flee to the island of Taiwan in 1949, when the Communists took over mainland China, bitter recriminations in Washington led to the question: "Who lost China?" China was, of course, never ours to lose, though it might be legitimate to ask…

Many parents and staff members have reached out to me and said the man in this picture is a custodian at Alan Shepard Elementary School in the Bourbonnais Elementary School District in Illinois.

According to a Facebook post accompanying the viral photo on June 3, the man, Steve “Mr. Steve” Weidner, “reached Rock Star status as he autographs yearbooks for his ‘fans’!”    …
